St. Thomas Aquinas (STA) Hall serves as both classrooms and the residence. It is one of the finest examples of Collegiate Gothic architectural style and was dedicated on June 18, 1930. Located within St. Peter’s Seminary, it is now part of King’s University College at Western University.

In 2020, Kingsway Academy renovated, upgraded, and redecorated STA Hall to create a comfortable school and living space for students.

A nice place to study

The public areas of the Academy feature six large murals designed and painted by students from the Faculty of Arts at Western University. These murals, with their distinctly Canadian themes, make the stairwells on both sides a popular spot for students to take photos and share with their families and friends.

Classrooms are decorated by students and teachers, featuring student artwork, inspirational slogans, and paintings on the walls and corridors. Additionally, classrooms at Kingsway Academy extend beyond indoor spaces. The over 100,000 square meters of lawn in front of and behind STA Hall provide perfect settings for outdoor classes.

STA Hall houses approximately six to seven classrooms for high school classes each semester. Each classroom accommodates a maximum of 25 students, enabling a small-class teaching model. This allows teachers to closely monitor each student’s progress and address challenges promptly. Tutor sessions, held Monday through Thursday each week of the semester, feature senior students from Western University who assist with various courses.

STA Hall is close to the King’s University College campus shuttle bus stop. On weekdays, students can easily travel between different Halls and the residence using the free shuttle bus. City bus stops are also just minutes away from STA Hall, making travel convenient for students on weekends and during summer semesters.
