Kingsway Academy pays much attention to the integration of Kingsway’s international students into the local English-speaking community. Kingsway considers it very important that their students develop an understanding of local culture and Canadian multiculturalism in order to lay a solid foundation for becoming an international student with a mature global perspective. Therefore, besides regular classes, Kingsway Academy arranges various on and off campus activities to encourage our international students to participate and to improve their leadership, comprehensive abilities and horizons.

On-campus Activities

Celebrations

Kingsway Academy has parties to celebrate festivals and achievements with students together. Students in teams prepare, manage and clean up for every party, they can enjoy the fun and at the same time, they earn community service hours to reach the OSSD graduate requirement as well.

Many university and college representatives in Canada visit Kingsway Academy every September to November to give our students a brief introduction to their schools. Students can raise questions to the school reps, and the reps talk with students about their interested school programs. Kingsway Academy has student counselors who help students to apply for U or C. One-on-one consulting for every Grade 12 student is done at the beginning of the academic year.

University & Community Activities

Taking the university campus location advantage, Kingsway Academy students will go to Western U to experience the excitement of the new academic year orientation week. Western University is famous for student activities, as well as varsity sports.
