The voyage had begun, and had begun happily with a soft blue sky, and a calm Christmas is the season of joy, peace, and happiness, celebrated the world over and famed for its decorations and Santa Clause. One can write for ages about the many wonders that Christmas inspires in people. It is the essence of this festival which unites the people so much.

It is always this kind of festival that has the power to bring the students, teachers and staff members together. On the 9th of December, Kingsway Academy held a Christmas party to celebrate and unite.
Before the party day, Chemistry grade 12 teacher Ms. Arij guided the students making some Christmas crafts like Christmas wreath and Chrstmas tree ornaments. It brought the holiday atmosphere to the whole school. Student volunteers worked as a team to decorate the Christmas tree.

Here comes the party day. Student Charli and teacher Ms Arij hosted the whole party.
“Good afternoon, everyone! What a wonderful day it is and having you all here with us today, makes it even more special! I amArij and this is Charli, your host for today’s party and I warmly welcome you all to Kingsway Christmas party “
Singing performance by SCH4U: Santa Claus is coming to Town.
Singing performance by Annie(Dong, Enni)
After listening to the two beautiful songs, students lined up to take food that the school prepared.
Then, here comes Santa who brought lots of gifts for the students. Students could not wait to take pictures with Santa. They were so excited!

Making A Gingerbread House was one of the traditions of the Kingsway Christmas party. Students were divided into 5 groups. Each group was given a Gingerbread House kit. They had 35 minutes to build, decorate, and customize their own Gingerbread House. They used their imagination and did such an amazing job. Plus It really is fun getting to be creative and working together at the same time. It was also funny to see one of the well-decorated house roofs fall down. But the most important thing was the process of making a project together.

Thank you for attending this event and making it successful. Thank you all for your time, encouragement, love and support. It was another great success.
As we approach the end of the year, Kignsway Family wishes all of you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
